At BUKO you will play a key role in the further development of our company. Your core responsibilities will have a main focus on Leadership & Strategy and Project Portfolio Management.

As Manager Strategic Projects, you report directly to the BUKO board and work closely with the board, other senior management and shareholder Equistone Partners Europe to achieve BUKO's strategic objectives by identifying, leading and executing various improvement, acquisition and integration initiatives.

To accelerate (international) growth, a buy-and-build strategy has been developed, which has so far resulted in the recent entry into the British market through the acquisition of Road Traffic Solutions and two acquisitions in the Netherlands. In addition to Great Britain, DACH is considered an important target region. In addition to strong organic and acquisitive growth, BUKO focuses on operational excellence and creating a future-proof and integrated international organization.

Tasks
Deze eigenschappen heb jij als Manager Strategic Projects
  • Active involvement in the implementation of BUKO's strategy to become a leading European provider of temporary traffic and safety management solutions as the right hand of the board.
  • Close collaboration with the Board, other (senior) individuals within the BUKO organization and Equistone.
  • Leading strategic projects related to BUKO's internationalization, digitalization and buy-and-build strategy, where optimization and realization of synergies are central.
  • Assemble, lead and motivate diverse project teams to promote high performance and professional growth.
  • Manage the organization's project portfolio and ensure projects are aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Prioritize projects and allocate resources based on business priorities, business cases (ROI) and capabilities, and in alignment with budget.
  • Identify, develop and implement value-enhancing projects and best practices on a national and international level to accelerate growth, improve digitalization and optimize operational processes.
  • Stimulating the integration of acquired companies at home and abroad into one BUKO.
  • Manage external advisors supporting on implementing initiatives.
  • Lead the PMO, and develop and present periodic project status reports and performance analyses to the board.

PROFILE

5-10 years of experience in project management, preferably in (in-house) consulting and with experience with M&A.

Demonstrable experience in managing and executing (complex) projects.

Fluent in Dutch and English and preferably German.

Willing to travel abroad and within The Netherlands with our headquarters in Barendrecht as your base.

Leisure
26 vacation days with a 40 hour working week.

Retirement
You build up a pension at Nationale Nederlanden. Half of the contribution is taken care off by BUKO. We also offer an additional insurance on (partial) disability.
